Yeah I think the guy thought that he'd just slap some paint on it and let me have it. It was pretty terrible honestly. If it isn't right this time I'll have to show my arse a little.
My Dad passed away a month ago, I don't need anymore stress. |

Before:
After: ![]() ![]() The finish is perfect, shape fits the bike like a glove, you use the stock bolts. The only thing I could find that might be an issue for those living in places where it often gets really hot, you're probably better not adding anything in front of your radiator. It was about 20C today and the bike temperature was at around 95-100C when I was riding in the city. Nothing alarming, but if I was in Arizona and it was 40C engine might get hot when stuck on a red light. Last edited by Speedo007; 03-22-2012 at 10:24 AM. |

I'm also waiting on this guard. I ordered one on 3/16.
Speedo, How many days did it take to receive? I was also telling my wife I wanted to get a radiator guard, and explaining why. I had a gift card on Amazon, and they had the Yamaha one there. As soon as I showed her a pic of the Yammy guard on a bike, she immediately said, eww, that's ugly.. |

From UK to Canada it took about a week for the Evotech.
As for the Yamaha personally I'm the kind of guy that tends to remove logos instead of adding some so I like how subtle the Evotech is. That said, the Yam looks sturdy and in black will most likely fade in well with the bike. It possibly offers a bit more air flow too. I'd still go with the Evotech if I had to start over though. ![]()
