Check mine out . Done locally by friend at his bodyshop.

Thanks, but I'm buying it more for the sequential LED feature and flashing brake light, the smoked lense was just a bonus.

which wire? brake light? turn signals? the brake light is a twist off Quarter Turn bulb holder. the turn signals are connected closer to the divider between the pillion and the front seat. little grey funky connectors. the wires trace out through the little hole just under the brake light twist off.

I love the integrated light, want to remove my tail tidy, put a plate bracket down on the axle and take the tail tidy totally off. The integrated lights look cool as hell, cleans your tail up alot, I just need to find out if it will pass inspection around here!!!
It should. I mean you still have a signal and brake light. I am considering this as well.

Did you install the Flash Relay? If not, are the signals super fast? (might actually be safer anyway)

I just got mine and installed it. If you ordered this MotoDynamic light, the three prong plug for the Tail/Brake lights is not the same on our FZ8s. It's a flat plug with 3 in-line pins, probably for the FZ1, our FZ8s have a 3 pin hex style plug, just like the turn signal plugs. I spliced the stock tail/brake harness to the new LED light so it plugs straight into the bike's wire harness.

It looks and works great, But now I'm undecided on what to do with my Evotech tidy tail.

Ditto, I am doing away with the entire tail and relocating my plate to the axle.

The new tail after installing the MotoDynamic LED tail light and removing most of the Evotech tidy tail. I'm still working on a new license plate light.
